You Are An ISTP |
The Mechanic
You are calm and collected, even in the most difficult of situations.
A person of action and self-direction, you love being independent.
To outsiders you seem impulsive, surprising, and unpredictable.
You are good at understanding how all things work, except for people.
In love, you tend to be very easy going and flexible.
The only thing you can't stand for is someone trying to change you or your life.
At work, you can stay completely calm under pressure. You handle stress well.
You would make an excellent pilot, forensic pathologist, or athlete.
How you see yourself: Logical, flexible, and unconventional
When other people don't get you, they see you as: Indecisive, flippant, and disrespectful |
I got this personality quiz from
Jojo’s blog. Some statements above are partially true and related to me. Yes. I love being independent and I tend to stay calm even things get worse. I just don’t like the career thing. LOL! I don’t want to be a pilot, forensic pathologist (what’s that?), and an athlete (I don't play any! LOL!).
The Mechanic. Maybe I can work on things with my own decision and direction. I can fix most problems without hesitation.

The four years of learning passed in a blink of an eye. I was then a transferee in Notre Dame of Greater Manila but yesterday I, with my batch mates, graduated High School. I clearly remember that I had no friends during the first day of classes but time passed and I had a lot. I will miss my teachers and advisers who gave us troublesome projects, countless home works, and difficult quizzes. Will I forget those days where I conquest to pass my ever-favorite (LOL!) math subject? Hell no! On the first semester of the school, I failed Math and that’s the reason why I didn’t belong to the top 10 of my section. Since advance algebra came into my life, it became my waterloo. Good for me because I passed it on the second semester and bagged the top 1. Thank you God! I wish I was given talent in numbers.
I will surely miss my friends from all states of gender. LOL! I’ll miss the weird things we were doing, funny moments and sad moments we encountered, the time when we were helping each other pass by giving hints on what will come out on the quizzes, the time where we were all cramming our THESIS and other requirements, strolling in malls, and many more. And oh! My first love and my crushes, I’ll miss you all too! I’m just kidding. LOL!
I’ll just miss my high school life. But every good thing comes to an end, right? I’m not yet sure what university/college will I enter. I don’t know why. I’m so confused at the moment. Wish me luck.

We, the fourth year students of Notre Dame of Greater Manila, had our last practice of our graduation yesterday. During the first few hours, we were doing nothing. I think we started practicing at 9 A.M. There were a lot of students who didn’t go to school but went to the afternoon event, the AGAPE.
We finished practicing at 11:30 A.M. The undergrads that time were taking their examination (2nd day). We had to wait for more than 2 hours before the mass began because we were not allowed to go home. For the last time, my friends and I ate in the school canteen. Huhu. Afterwards, we went to the student’s lounge. We played games, talked with each other, cracked jokes, etc.
At 2 PM, my friends and I went to the school gymnasium because the mass will start at any moment. Many parents were there including mine. After the mass, recognitions were given to some students. I retained my rank 1 in the class and I’m rank 41 over the 240+ graduating students in the batch. I can’t believe it. LOL! And then the most awaited part of the day happened, the AGAPE. The priest said that AGAPE denotes love. Foods were shared by the parents and the students while a school band performed some songs. Invitations and togas were given next.
My friends and I grabbed the chance to camwhore because it is the last event before graduation. Well, I will surely miss my friends. Finally, the day has come. Our graduation will be tomorrow. I can’t help myself but feel the excitement, sadness, happiness, relief and nervousness (weird, I know).

Circle of friends

@ NDGM Field. LOL.

Tohru Honda is 16 year old orphaned girl who gets invited to live in the house of her classmate, the handsome boy Sohma Yuki, and his cousins, 16 year old Kyo and 27 year old Shigure. However, these young men and parts of the rest of their family (both close and distant) hold a curse; if they are hugged by the opposite gender, they transform into animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Everyday is an adventure for sweet Tohru, as she gets to know everyone in the large family better (especially Yuki and Kyo), in both common and bizarre situations. But, the Sohma Family curse is certainly no laughing matter... it also holds horrible cruelity and heartbreak. From Anime News Network Plot - 5/5Transformations in anime are typical but transforming to a zodiac animal plus the spirit of the cat is quite weird, right? It is cute except for Kyo's true form of the cat. As the plot goes on, a certain character is developed especially in the Souma family. There are many funny adventures and misadventures in the story. LOL! Indeed, the plot of Fruits Basket is amazing.
Characters - 4/5The
characters are well developed and well done. They learn from Tohru which serves as inspiration to them to change for the better. You will see the good sides and the bad sides because a character owns an episode. It’s good that the whole cast didn’t fall in love with Tohru. LOL! Another thing, you will always see Kyo and Yuki fighting.
Everyone can associate themselves with the characters. The problems they are experiencing too are realistic. Tohru’s two best friends (Hanajima and Arisa Uotani) are quite strange but it just clearly shows how friendship works. They always want Tohru to be safe and happy.
Animation - 4/5The animation is also well done. The characters are simply stunning. The backgrounds are done detailed and beautiful. Sometimes the series uses stick figures and even weird things (like ghosts, waves) but it adds to the humor.
Music - 5/5The time you hear the songs of Fruits Basket, you will fall in love easily. I love the melody because it’s so tender and sweet. The scenes in the opening theme are suited in the lyrics. It’s quite sad. In the ending theme, the scenes are the recap of the whole episode.
Overall - 4.5/5The series is incredible. I learn a lot even though it’s an anime. Tohru’s attitude is really admirable. She is so kind and caring. I also love the humorous story. There are times that different emotions are packed in an episode. The ending is not so clear but I love it. I hope there is season 2. LOL.

After the books
ABNKKBSNPLAko?!,
Bakit Baliktad Magbasa ng Libro ang Mga Pilipino?,
Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas, and
Alamat ng Gubat comes Bob Ong’s 5
th book entitled
Stainless Longganisa.
In this book,
Bob Ong revealed the reason why he quit his job and became a full-time writer, his struggles while he wrote his first book, his inspirations in writing, and a lot more. The book revolves in
writing. He said that only few are given the chance to write.
Some pages of the book made me laugh and some made me reflect. Stainless Longganisa is more inspiring to read compare to his past four books. I really love his style in writing (humor). I'm pretty excited to buy his 6
th book.

Yesterday, we had our career field trip in 3 different places. It was my first or second (?) field trip since I entered Notre Dame of Greater Manila for my High School education. All our field trips were not approved especially the Enchanted Kingdom (supposedly, for our Physics 3rd quarter project). Our batch received all the misfortunes, LOL!
First, we went to Far Eastern University – East Asia College. Next, we went to Gardenia. We watched in a video presentation how they make their quality products. We were toured inside their factory. It’s really amazing. Lastly, we went to Lucky Me. We also did the same thing there (watched a video presentation, toured in their factory).

At least 80% of the public transportations were paralyzed in Metro Manila today according to the organizer/s of the strike. Several transport groups were protesting about the different traffic violation tickets issued by various local government units which they claimed to be illegal.
Many people were stranded because of what happened. In response to that, city mayors provided free ride programs to help their people, but these programs were not enough to accommodate everyone.
Majority of the schools did not suspend the class. Education Secretary Jesli Lapus avoids the waste of one school day. Anyway, I was fortunate because my father drives me to school. The roads were wide enough for us to pass, LOL!
If I’m not mistaken, the strike ended when E0712 was signed by the people of MalacaƱang. Transport groups immediately stopped the strike by noon.

This poem talks about logarithmic function. I made this for my friend. It was our assignment in Math few weeks ago. Haha!
Logarithmic is everywhere!
It’s the inverse of exponential function
It’s called logarithmic function
Solving it is effortless
But the insight you’ll get is priceless
The logarithm of sixteen to the base two is four
Try and try it and you’ll not feel bore
The logarithm of four to the base sixteen is one half
Sure easy, award yourself with a good laugh
The logarithm of one to the base eight is zero
Help others to know it and be a hero
Logarithmic function is seen everywhere
Solve it now so it will not go elsewhere

This non-sense poem about logarithmic function was made by yours truly. Hahaha! It was an assignment for our Math class weeks ago.
Logarithmic function, anyone?
Logarithmic function is the thing
Be astounded by the knowledge it brings
Solving it is sure easy
The steps to follow are cozy
The logarithm of five to the base five is one
See, it’s absolutely fun
The logarithm of sixteen to the base two is four
Practice it, and you will look for more
The logarithm of one hundred to the base ten is two
Now, you will not feel blue
Logarithmic function, anyone?
This is certainly for everyone

A poem about Economics. It was our homework during the first few days of classes so I was forced to do this. LOL!
Economics
Economics, how important it is?
You'll never know until you experience it in bliss
Every people in every way is an economist
They don't know that they're actually doing it
Economics is a social science
It's a study on how man uses limited resources
It's needed to satisfy his needs for survival
Mindfulness is a key that would surely help
Economics equips man to manage resources efficiently
Economics has two divisions
Microeconomics that focuses on small units
And Macroeconomics that looks on the totality of economy
We can't get all the things we desire
But knowing the concept of Economics
Such as consumption, production, and distribution
We will surely succeed.

So this week (March 3 – 7) is the last week of our academics. Of course, there are a lot of things to do! Work here! Work there! Work everywhere! Even though next week is our examination, we are still cramming our thesis paper. It’s the hardest project I’ve encountered in my high school life. You need to revise the paper many times. I think I made 999 revisions already. Hahaha! I’m so exaggerated.
Flashback of what happened this week to me.
Monday – Probably the last assembly of the fourth year high school students in Notre Dame of Greater Manila (NDGM) gymnasium. We were asked to leave the gym early so the teachers can maximize their time in discussing the lessons. ENGLISH TIME! My partner and I volunteered ourselves to defend our thesis paper. I was freaking that time because I don’t know if our paper was good. But we were able to defend our thesis well. We just have to do some revisions. REVISIONS again!
Tuesday – We answered our Project Part B (graphing and solving) in Math. The time was not enough for me because I did not finish it! I left two questions unanswered. The 20 points is a sure loss. This day also was our written project defense in Economics. It was actually the continuation of the 3rd quarter project (Business Plan). My answers were almost the same in every number. Redundancy! LOL!
Wednesday – The contest “graduation song writing” was held in the auditorium during the afternoon. Each section presented their piece. We also had our two quizzes in Physics.
Thursday – We had our long test in Computer and CLVE. Our MAPEH teacher signed some of the clearance of students who passed their notes.
Friday – The last mass of the fourth year students with the NDGM community (though there is one more in the graduation rites). ENGLISH TIME! We had our hard long test in English. Even though I studied and made a reviewer for it, I still got a not-so-high score. Huhu. We also had our long test in Economics.
I hope next week will be a good one for me especially in the examination!

I deleted my blog yesterday at wordpress.com before its too late. I tried it for a month but I was not happy because it has a lot of restrictions. In wordpress, you can’t easily put Java and HTML codes. But it has its good features such as thousands of theme and useful plugins.
Before I deleted my blog at wordpress, I was able to import my entries there to here. I returned to blogger because I believe it is blogger-friendly (is the word right? LOL!), and suited for those who don’t have much knowledge on codes. I know some HTML codes because we studied it for one semester during our 2nd year high school but I can’t remember it all. LOL!
